(3독) Holes (w Audible)

1) 총평 (완독 소감 + 간단한 원서 리뷰 포함)

북클럽이 열려서 생각지 않게 아주 빠르게 3독을 하게 되었네요.

1독은 책 내용 제대로 이해 못했고 2독째는 그제서야 책내용보고 사처의 작품에 빠져들었고 

3독째는 오디오북과 같이 들었습니다. 그리고 Holes의 오디오북의 빠름과 읽으시는 분의 연기력에 또 새삼 놀라구요.

이 책은 10독을 해도 지겹지 않을거 같네요... 오됴북으로 흘려듣기도 좋을것 같구요...

여튼 명작은 명작인거 같습니다. 아참 이책은 청소년 문학소설이라고는 하는데 Young Adult 로 분류되오니... 청소년과 성인소설의 가운데 쯤 이라고 생각하시는 편도 좋을거 같아요 ㅎ

Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys’ detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. But there are an awful lot of holes.

It doesn’t take long for Stanley to realize there’s more than character improvement going on at Camp Green Lake. The boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something. But what could be buried under a dried-up lake? Stanley tries to dig up the truth in this inventive and darkly humorous tale of crime and punishment—and redemption.
