[펭귄리더스 레벨3] The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency

1) 총평 (완독 소감 + 간단한 원서 리뷰 포함)

 

처음에는 그냥 어린이용 이야기인 줄 알았다. 아프리카 보츠와나 이야기가 나와서 좀 특이하다고 생각했다. 그런데 읽다보니 마약이나 인신매매 등 아프리카의 어두운 면이 나와서 좀 놀랐다. 그러면 그렇지. 이것도 유명한 책의 축약본이었다. 축약본을 읽는 것은 과연 좋은 것일까 아닐까? 요새는 영상을 많이 보다보니까 이 정도의 책을 읽는 것도 시간이 많이 걸린다. 레벨3에서는 모르는 단어는 나오지 않는 것 같기도 하다. (그냥 읽다보니까 모르는 단어가 나오는지 아닌지를 잘 모르겠다.)

어짜피 대부분의 사람들이 레벨 2에서 레벨3 정도의 책을 읽을 것 같으니 나도 그 수준의 책을 많이 읽어야겠다고 생각하긴 하는데 사실 재미가 좀 없어서 문제다. 어쨌든 올해 레벨 2부터 레벨 6까지 모두 읽는 것이 목표... 아마도 실패하겠지.
