이번 책의 주인공은 외계인 Ax이다. 처음에는 모기로 모핑하길래 그냥 그러려니 했는데, 갑자기 zero-space로 튕겨져 나간 애니모프스들이 앤덜라이트와 이어크족의 우주 전투에 휘말리게 된다. 그런데 갑자기 한 명씩 사라져버리는 애니모프스들에게는 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는 것일까?
