1) 총평 (완독 소감 + 간단한 원서 리뷰 포함)
스폰지밥은 올해 할로윈에서는 자신이 놀라기보다 다른사람을 놀라게 해주려고 계획하는데,
유령으로 변신해서 밖을 나갔던 스폰지밥은 매트리스라는 소리를 듣고 침울해하다가
머리를 동그랗게 깎고 다시 시도한다. 사람들이 모여있는 곳에 패트릭의 도움을 받아 유령처럼 위에서 등장하려 하는데, 천천히 내려가다가 패트릭이 해파리에 쏘여 줄을 놓게 되어 그냥 떨어지게 된다. 놀라게 하려고 한게 실패하자 집에 돌아가려 했지만 진짜 유령이 들어오자 다들 무서움에 떨고 스폰지밥이 자신을 흉내내는 것을 알자 스폰지밥의 얼굴을 보기 위해 유령이 천을 들추자 유령과 모두는 깜짝 놀라 도망간다. 알고 봤더니 스폰지밥이 뇌만 남기고 모두 깎아버렸던 것이다 ㅋ
스폰지밥은 모두를 놀라게 하는데 성공하여 행복해한다.
