어느날 실업자가 된 아빠 Dr.Brewer는 집안 지하창고에서 식물에 대한 연구를 하며 두문불출하고..
이모가 수술을 하게 되어 엄마 Mrs.Brewer가 집을 비우게 되자 Margaret과 Casey 남매는 아빠와 지내게 됩니다.
Margaret과 Casey는 아빠가 잠시 외출한 사이 이 지하창고에 들어가게 되고 신음소리를 내는 식물등 이상한 식물들을 보는데요.
아빠 Dr.Brewer는 이 남매에게 지하연구실에 내려가지 말라고 경고하고.
Margaret은 아빠의 머리에 머리카락대신 나뭇잎이 자라고 있는것을 발견하고.. 또 아빠가 이상한 흙을 먹고있는 장면까지 목격하면서 Dr.Brewer를 경계하는데요.
두권째인데.. 갖고있는 62권을 전부 읽을지는 좀 더 고민좀 해봐야겠어요.. ^^
