1) 총평 (완독 소감 + 간단한 원서 리뷰 포함)
작은 쇼핑몰에 코끼리와 같이 사육되는 고릴라 이반의 이야기 입니다.
이야기는 약간의 실화에서 바탕을 두고 있다고 합니다.
아티스트 고릴라가 열악한 환경에 있는 자신과 코끼리 루비를 구출하기 위해
그림을 그려서 마침내 .... 야생으로 가진 못하고
좋은 환경의 동물원으로 이주합니다.
마지막에 야생에 방사되는 줄 알았는데
인근 동물원으로 가고 마네요.
오랫동안 사육된 동물이라서 그게 나을지도 모르지만
그것조차 인간의 시선이겠지요...
감동적인 이야기입니다.
