"In America, cars have different licence plates," said my sister.
"There are fifty states in the United States.
Each state has its own license plate.
The license plates have something special about the states," said Dad.
It was true.
My brother pointed at the license plate of New York State.
The nickname of New York State was written on it.
The nickname of New York State is the Empire State.
My sister saw an Illinois license plate.
On the plate it said, "The land of Lincoln."
It was proudly showing that Lincoln had lived in Illinois.
Even Lincoln's face was on it.
While we walked along the streets, we looked carefully at the license plates.
It was very interesting.
